Cheers to a new partnership! Taste of Vail and Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley have come together to benefit the events of both organizations. The partnership was created to assist Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley (HFHVV) with wine donations for the 20th Anniversary Carpenters’ Ball. Wineries participating in the 2019 Taste of Vail festival were given an exclusive opportunity to support HFHVV and their mission of creating affordable housing opportunities in the local community.
As HFHVV is the local organization in Eagle County creating affordable home ownership opportunities for families earning below 80% of the area median income. The new partnership allows Taste of Vail wineries the opportunity donate wine to HFHVV’s single largest fundraising event and then have their wines promoted by local Vail Valley retailers for two months between the Carpenters’ Ball and Taste of Vail festival. The HFHVV Carpenters’ Ball event takes place on March 9th, 2019 at the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek and will have over 420 attendees, and the Taste of Vail festival takes place between April 3 – 6, 2019.
As the nation’s premier spring food and wine festival, the Taste of Vail showcase more than 30 of Vail’s finest chefs and restaurateurs alongside the owners and winemakers from over 55 of the countries’ top wineries. As an iconic event of Vail, Colorado, the local community benefits from the economic impact the Taste of Vail festival provides, as well as unique volunteer opportunities at the world-class event.
