NON-CONSTRUCTION VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Office Volunteers
Closing Documents – Prepare Habitat specific documents for new Homeowner mortgage closings – for volunteers with professional real estate law or title company experience.
Government Advocate – Create new and strengthen existing relationships with town, county and state officials, councils, planning commissions, community development staff – for volunteers with planning or governmental experience.
Social Media Assistant – Lend your voice and social media savvy to HFHVV accounts. Help develop and maintain social media accounts such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
Data Entry Assistant – Assist with data entry and record keeping for volunteer hours (for volunteers with database and office experience).
Special Event Volunteers
The Carpenters’ Ball takes place annually in March. Auction Volunteers are needed from January through March to solicit and gather auction items. Day-of Event Volunteers help with set up of the auction and dining rooms, and serve as event hosts during the Gala.
Join a Committee
Habitat for Humanity volunteers contribute more than just muscle. Creativity, strategy and technical skills are among the many invaluable traits volunteers bring to our organization. Habitat depends on our volunteer committees for support. Habitat Vail Valley ReStore
Many people don’t know this, but our Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley ReStore is an economic engine for our organization. The proceeds from the ReStore allow us to direct financial donations to our homebuilding efforts and also pay living wages.
No retail experience is required to volunteer in our store, just a desire to have some fun with our team and to help serve our valued guests.
