Laureen has now earned Emeritus Status and continues to strengthen her dedication. Carrie Fell is involved once again. As a contributor, her history with Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley, dates to 2009, 2010 and 2011. Carrie’s support of the Carpenters’ Ball through her artwork, helped bolster the Carpenters’ Ball through themes and promotions and received record bidding for her contributions during those years.

Laureen Hopkins and Carrie Fell fostered their friendship through Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley in 2009. Beginning, by partnering on table favors. Together, with Ruggs Benedict, each guest was offered a colorful mini placard placed on a small easel that highlighted the artwork donated for the live auction of each year. Overall, our decision whether individually, or together, to get involved with Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley is the same, and driven by a combination of altruism, personal values, a desire for community improvement, and the satisfaction of making a tangible difference in people’s lives in the Vail Valley.
