Key to Our Community
Megan
Megan is a hardworking mother who has several jobs and had to move homes three times in just a year. As a strong member of our workforce, she started to think living in Eagle County was out of reach — that this community she loves so much didn’t love her back.
Feeling unsure and trepidatious, she applied to be a Habitat homeowner — even though she thought Habitat homeownership wasn’t for her. Imagine her delight, relief and stability when she realized she qualified to help build and then buy her home.
Critical Workforce
Andy
Andy and Ale grew up in Eagle County and knew they wanted to stay here to be difference makers. Their living situation was in peril with no affordable housing opportunities. Andy is a bedrock of his community, is an engaged law enforcement officer and a community connector.
