David Velasquez joined the Habitat Vail Valley team in summer 2023 as a Construction Apprentice. He is part of the Vail Valley Partnership CareerWise program and jumped right into his responsibilities.

David is inspired by taking on new job opportunities and being able to learn so much at a young age. He is excited to work in the nonprofit world, learning, growing and building community. And it is the perfect job for David: in order to focus he has to be constantly moving.

When not at work, he spends the with his dog and does automotive research.
