David has been involved with Habitat for Humanity since 2002, predominately with HFH Metro Denver (HFHMD). David joined the Finance Committee of Habitat Vail Valley in May 2021. David has volunteered on construction sites, as a corporate and personal donor, served on the Corporate Leadership Team, the Finance and Audit Committee, as well as the Board, two years as President and chairing the Executive Committee.

Other Board service over the years includes Children’s Hospital Colorado and the Children’s Health System, Winter Park Ski Education Foundation Board, Leeds School of Business (University of Colorado – Boulder). David graduated from CU Boulder with a BA in Economics. His professional career includes 11 years at Arthur Andersen LLP. He then moved to the private sector serving as Chief Accounting Officer, President and CFO. David also worked in private equity. He maintains his CPA license.

David and his wife Susan are Colorado natives, having met at University of Colorado – Boulder. Their family together with their three adult children are their number one priority. They live in Eagle. David is an avid skier, mountain biker, road cyclist and fly fisherman. He is a part-time ski coach for Ski & Snowboard Club Vail and the Competition Center at Winter Park Resort.
