Beatriz Bustamante joined Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley in early 2021. She brings a wealth of knowledge and strong community connections to this newly created role. As Family Services Coordinator, Beatriz works in collaboration and partnerships with families, community members and organizations. In addition, she helps and supports HFHVV partners and applicant families in improving their lives, being self-sufficient, growing in personal finance and education and increasing access to opportunities and community resources. She loves participating in Family Partner Build Days and Construction Site Saturdays.
Beatriz was born and raised in Mexico before moving to Colorado. She’s lived in Eagle County for 17 years. Over the years, Beatriz has worked at Eagle County Public Health, Battle Mountain High School and as Program Coordinator State Level at Univ. of Colorado School of Dental Medicine.
Anyone who has met Beatriz knows she is a passionate community server and activist, on many committees including PTA, Accountability, Wellness, Community, Religious. She never lets an opportunity to learn pass her by.
When not working, Beatriz enjoys the peace and beauty of the Vail Valley; loves being with her family and has a penchant for travel.
