Nick Mejia has been with Habitat for Humanity in various capacities since 2019. Most recently, Nick has started as the construction crew leader, helping oversee the building process of more affordable homes for families. In this role, he supervises the job site, works on the builds and leads volunteer, groups, family partners and AmeriCorps volunteers through construction tasks to ensure the project timeline is met.

Nick is an Eagle County native and graduated from Colorado Mesa University before starting his career in nonprofits, as volunteer coordinator at HFHVV. The best part of the job for Nick is working with families and helping them become homeowners.

In his spare time, Nick likes to hike, camp, play disc golf, kayak, snowboard—pretty much anything that has to do with being outdoors in the mountains.
