In 1995, a group of concerned citizens went about forming Habitat for Humanity of Eagle and Lake Counties. Twenty-seven years later, Habitat Vail Valley has worked with many locals, partnering to build permanently affordable housing.
- Last year we broke ground on our 100th home.
- In 2022-24, we will build 40 homes and rehab six; doubling the number of homes we built between 2020-2022.
- We work with partner families, guaranteeing a 0% mortgage that is no more
than 30% of their gross income. - Through business partnerships and grants, we are able to build homes that remain permanently affordable.
