Clyde Hanks, President
Clyde has been the General Manager for the Beaver Creek Metro District since 2005 and served as President of the Vail Valley Leadership Institute for 2 years. With more than 20 years of health care administration experience, Clyde founded Managed Care Fundamentals, an Avon-based health care consulting business and was a senior vice president of operation for SelectCare, in Troy, MI. He holds an MBA in finance from the Wharton School as well as masters degrees in physiology and electrical engineering from Cornell University.
Clyde joined the Board of Directors in 2004 and was instrumental in starting the Habitat Home Outlet, now known as the Habitat ReStore. Clyde has served on the Finance Committee for many years and currently serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors. Clyde and his wife Natalia have three daughters. Hanks is an avid skier and hiker and a novice fly fisherman.

Bud Wonsiewicz, Vice President
Bud Wonsiewicz is a former senior technical executive in the telecommunications industry primarily at Bell Labs. He also served as a faculty member at MIT and a board member of several high-tech and charitable organizations over the years. In 2007, Bud co-authored the book “Discovering Awareness”.
Bud has been involved in our affiliate since the early 1990’s. He served a full term on the Board of Directors and was actively involved in several committees and contributed greatly to our Strategic Plan over the years. Bud rejoined the Board of Directors in 2012 serving as Vice President. Bud and his wife, Marie, have been very active in Habitat for Humanity. They enjoy volunteering on the job site, attending events, and in 2011 they traveled to Paraguay for a Habitat Global Village Build. Bud and Marie have three children and live in Boulder.

Bret Hooper, Treasurer
Bret Hooper is the Community Bank President of ANB Bank in Avon. After earning his B.S. degree in Business Administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Bret began his career in corporate finance working for a regional investment bank in Virginia. He returned to his home state of Colorado in 1993 and has been a banker in Eagle County ever since.
Bret is the Treasurer of HFHELC and has participated on its Finance Committee since 2007. His previous non-profit experience includes serving in several capacities over the years for the United Way of the Eagle River Valley including president, treasurer and campaign chairperson. He is also a former board member for the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce and a past consultant for Junior Achievement.

Rick Mueller, Secretary
Born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO, Rick graduated from University of Colorado in 1972 with degrees in Business and Engineering. Rick moved to the Vail Valley in 1988 and owned and operated an Advertising Firm and a Real Estate Development Company. In 1994, Rick founded Remonov and Company, Inc and developed approximately 700,000 square feet of commercial space and Residential construction (Edwards Village Center, Edwards Corner, and Edwards Commercial Park) and other real estate in the Vail Valley, Colorado and Arizona. Rick and his wife Rita have one daughter, Mackenzie.
Selected for the Edwards Area Task force in 1997, Rick became an ambassador for Habitat for Humanity for 6 years and then joined the Board of Directors in 2002. Rick has served on the Executive Committee playing an integral part in our leadership, including a term as President, since 2008.

Dick Bourret
Dick Bourret is originally from California. When he graduated from the University of Oregon, he spent 18 months working has way around the world including teaching for 6 months in Thailand. He then earned an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. Dick spent 3 years working for Chase Manhattan Bank and the J. Walter Thompson company. Dick headed west to Denver and entered the commercial real estate business primarily for CB Richard Ellis as a vice president.
Dick is married to Vicki with whom he raised 3 children and have 6 grandchildren. Dick has been active with Habitat since 2002 first working on homes in Leadville and is currently Chairman of the Land Committee. Dick has also traveled extensively building Habitat homes in Mexico, New Zealand, Honduras, Romania, Bolivia, Samoa, Ethiopia and Lesotho South Africa and most recently led a group of volunteers to Cambodia. Dick has a passion for biking, skiing and is a part time ski instructor.

Matt Dietz
Raised in Vail, CO Matt graduated from the University of Colorado in 1992. After graduation, Matt joined his father’s construction and Real Estate Development Company where he was partner for 11 years. In 2003 Matt and his business partner, Ted Leach, founded Vail Custom Builders. Vail Custom Builders has become a leader in building high end energy efficient homes throughout the Vail Valley.
Matt and his wife Cari have two children, Sydney and Carson. Matt is an avid skier, golfer and fly fisherman.
Matt has been a member of the construction committee since 2007 and served as member of the board since 2008. During this time, Matt helped create the current Professional Builder Program and spec books that have allowed our affiliate to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Kenton Hopkins
Kenton Hopkins has been an active part of the Vail Valley for almost 40 years. Starting out as an investment broker and ski instructor, Kent has created an amazing life in this Valley. Having successfully negotiated and consummated over $750,000,000 of real estate transactions in the Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch market, Kent has developed tremendous success as one of the top-producing Real Estate Brokers over the last 23 years with Slifer, Smith & Frampton Real Estate.
Kent’s success is based on excellent business skills and on his energetic and ambitious approach to everything he does. He brings this high level of enthusiasm to Habitat for Humanity serving first as an Ambassador and then joining the Board of Directors.

Alex Iskenderian
Alex Iskenderian is the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President for Vail Resorts Development Company where he oversees all the day-to-day VRDC initiatives and projects. Alex joined Vail Resorts in 1997. He has worked as Vice President and General Counsel and most recently served as Vice President of Development for VRDC. With more than a decade of experience in both Summit and Eagle Counties, he has been instrumental to many projects, including One Ski Hill Place, Crystal Peak Lodge, The Arrabelle at Vail Square, The Vail Front Door base area development, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead villages, Red Sky Ranch and Golf Club, Mountain Thunder Lodge and Townhomes, and the development of The Peak 7 and 8 base areas in Breckenridge. Alex brings tremendous leadership skills, a wealth of real estate knowledge and strong community connections to the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors.
Alex also serves on the Summit Foundation board and enjoys mountain biking, skiing, running, golfing and the mountain lifestyle of the Colorado Rockies.

Brian Judge
Brian relocated from Connecticut to the Vail Valley in 1991 and became the Founding Partner of VAg Inc architects and planners a firm specializing in Resort Architecture throughout North America and the Caribbean. Brian holds accreditation with the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architects Accreditation Board and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
He was an active participant in the initial organization of our affiliate and has served as either an Ambassador or Board Member since its inception in 1995. His firm has donated numerous master planning and architectural designs services and Brian has served on several committees over the years including land acquisition and fundraising committees and as an integral member for creative growth. He was instrumental in the creation of the Professional Builder Program starting in 2008. Brian and his wife Nicole have three children and live life to the fullest.

Dick Michaux
Dick retired from AvalonBay Communities (NYSE: AVB) as its Chairman and CEO. Previously he was a Group Managing Partner of Trammell Crow Residential responsible for the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Midwest states.
Since retirement, Dick has served on the boards of several HOAs and non-profit organizations. Dick's interest in Habitat started when building apartments and his company adopted Habitat as its corporate charity. Many of the employees of AvalonBay Communities were involved in the land acquisition, design, approvals and construction of housing. Dick became a resident of the Vail Valley when he retired in 2001 and joined the Board in 2003.
Dick and his wife Ginny have a son in Salem, OR and daughter in Washington, DC plus six grandchildren.

Ruth Powers
Ruth Powers spent 25 years as a lawyer in New York, working first as in-house counsel at Chemical Bank and then Citibank. She handled all kinds of banking and securities matters during that time. She also served on the boards of several non profits, including a women’s financial services group and an organization seeking to elect women to Congress.
Ruth and her husband Tom moved to the Vail area in 2002. Though generally retired, she is admitted to practice law in New York, Colorado and does periodic legal projects. She spends a significant amount of time with non profit organizations including the Habitat Board since 2006. Ruth has actively contributed to the success of the Habitat ReStore and currently chairs that committee.

Amanda Precourt
After graduating from Stanford University, Amanda started her career in the electronic brokerage world as a Marketing Manager at Charles Schwab & Co. and Morgan Stanley as Senior Marketing Manager and led a massive marketing campaign for their online web trading platform. Amanda relocated to Denver in 2000, and worked for Prima Capital. After September 11th, Amanda decided to get out of the dot com world and worked for the
Humane Society as an Event Manager. Ultimately, Amanda went back to school and received a Master’s in Real Estate and Construction Management. Fixer-uppers and property management have since become her new career.
Amanda also began pursuing her philanthropic dreams including work for Habitat for Humanity. Spending 3 weeks building in Chile and volunteering here at home, Amanda also co-chaired the successful Vail Home Partnership which raised enough money to fund the first LEED certified home in Fox Hollow. In addition, Amanda led the first international build trip to Paraguay which kicked off the statewide 1000 Homes campaign. She continues to Chair the International Committee.

Rob Wilson
Rob Wilson is the Pastor of Eagle River Presbyterian Church in Avon, CO where he has served as pastor since 2005. Rob was born and raised in Spokane, Washington and graduated from Whitworth College with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. After working in the Seattle area as a Case Manager for chronically mentally ill adults, Rob felt called to ministry. He attended Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary for one year before taking three years away to work as the Director of Youth Ministries at Grace Presbyterian Church in Littleton, CO. He then returned to Louisville Seminary for two more years in order to complete his Master’s of Divinity degree after which he was ordained as a Presbyterian Minister. Rob’s first call was to the Community Presbyterian Church in Wilbur, Washington where he served for over 6 years. Rob has been married to Barbara since 1995 and they have four children: Gunnar, Garrett, Luke and Lorien.
Rob currently serves on Denver Presbytery’s Committee on Ministry, the Vail Valley Cares Board and Habitat’s Church Relations Committee.
